Baseball caps have many different fabrics such as mesh, felt, denim and even leather. When you making your own baseball caps, you should consider the things.
You will first need to take measurement of the head that the "hood" or cap part of the baseball cap is intended for. Take a measuring tape and measure the crown part of the head. Then place your measuring tape down on the fabric and with a pencil, starting a center point or dot, from the half way mark on the measuring tape, make a 360 degree circle using the length of the half way mark on the measuring tape.
To make the bill, you will want to find a piece of stiff cardboard or some other material such as plastic but make your choice by the ease in which to cut it. You don't want to have to literally saw through the material to finish your hand made baseball cap. Once you get our material, you will want to measure the width of the forehead of the person who is going to wear it. Afterwards, mark this on the material that you chose to make the bill and cut a rectangle that is at least 5 inches wide by the length of the forehead long. With a needle and thread, sew the bill to the cap part of the then attach the clasp on the rear of the cap.
With your baseball cap now assembled, the fun part is decorating it. Let your imagination continue to run ramped as you add anything from glitter to gems on your baseball cap. You can even add your favorite baseball team's logo or colors as well.
